Disneyland's Goofy's Kitchen

Goofy's Kitchen located at the Disneyland Hotel, is one of the character meals available while visiting Disneyland. Goofy's Kitchen offers a brunch or dinner buffet. This is the largest buffet available at the Disneyland Resort.

There are five food stations: Fruit, Salads, Dessert/Pastries, Hot Food & Kid Favorites.

In the fruit station, you can find fresh bananas, apples, oranges, strawberries, grapes, watermelon, other melons, canned peaches, yogurt, etc.

In the salad station, you can find green salad, tomatoes with mozzerella & basil, cold cuts, salad dressing, etc.

In the dessert/pastry station, you can find breads, rolls, danishes, cinnamon rolls, jello, worms in dirt, muffins, cupcakes, rice krispy treats, other desserts, etc.

In the hot food station, you can find (depending on brunch or dinner): breakfast sausage, bacon, hash browns, eggs benedict, different egg dishes, made to order omelets, specialty of the day, rice, steamed vegetables, fish, fresh carved meats, potatoes, etc.

In the kids favorites station, you can find pizza, peanut butter & jelly pizza, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, mac & cheese, french toast, Mickey waffles, Minnie pancakes, etc.

When you enter the restaurant, you check-in & pay for the meal. You are asked to wait in the lobby area to be called. When your family is called, you are taken to the photo op area to have a family picture done by the Disney Photo Pass Photographers with a character. We've seen Pluto, Chef Goofy & Minnie. The photographer will also be glad to take pictures with your  camera. The character will happily sign your autograph books!! After your picture, you will be escorted to your table. Your waiter(ess) will come and get your drink orders & you are free to hit the buffet.....loading up as many plates as you'd like. The characters will go table to table, so no need to get up & chase your favorite down. This also allows you & your family to have some one on one time with them. A few times through out your meal, they will announce a game or playtime with Chef Goofy & the kids can congregate by the buffet; which is centrally located in the large restaurant. Goofy & his friends dance, bang pots & just have a good time!

You are alloted 90 minutes for the character meal & we tend to stay pretty close to that, so the kids can experience everything this meal has to offer. The amount of characters will vary from hour to hour, as will what characters will make an appearance. We always see Chef Goofy & Pluto, since they tend to be the hosts for this meal. We've seen over the last couple trips: Minnie, Chip, Dale, Baloo, Brer Fox, Alice, Aladdin & Jasmine.

This is a fun-filled meal with endless food choices. You should not leave this meal hungry!! Make sure you bring your camera & autograph books & be ready to smile.
